What a blessing to be 2 full days past surgery and not needing to take any strong pain medication. HOORAY!!
The weekend was a great time to heal physically and to spend time with my dear college roomate, Anna. Her visit was so perfectly timed. We were able to go on a couple walks, spend lots of time talking and she was very helpful to our family. THANK YOU ANNA!!
We also had a wonderful visit with Curt's Uncle Dave and Aunt Jane, who came all the way from Michigan. We felt so blessed to catch up with them for a couple hours. They are so good to our family.
Tonight we had a wonderful dinner from the Tucker family. They have been so sweet to our family and always are willing to help with Abby.(our wild daughter with fur)
My right drain seems to be doing a perfect job. It is vastly different from the 1st surgery. I am so amazed at how much better the right side is healing without any inflammation or swelling.
