I hope that you all had a wonderful weekend and enjoyed the beautiful sunshine. These weekends in Spokane with the sunshine and the crisp Fall air are delightful.
Curt and I spent the weekend at Riverside State Park, a beautiful campground 15 minutes away from our house, right on the Spokane River. The boys visited and even played some pinecone/river golf, but we had lots of rest and time together. We actually came and spent the night at home on Saturday, because it was hard to sleep on Friday night without a comfortable couch to land on for part of the night. It was perfect to grab dinner on the drive home, sleep in our own bed/couch and then go back for the morning to enjoy the sunshine and a beautiful walk at the campground.
This weekend was a big milestone...no pain in any part of my body...what a miracle. I remember this feeling after my surgery last year...I feel "high" on regular life...it is so easy to take things for granted.
We had a wonderful taco feast from Wende on Friday and had leftovers all weekend. Tonight we are going to my mom's for dinner. I am getting spoiled.
Praise:
*Couldn't have asked for a better weekend
*Wonderful visit from my friend Sara
Prayers:
*Genetic counseling appointment on Tuesday
*Blood under my right chest would be reabsorbed into my body. It limits my shoulders movement because the skin is so TIGHT.
Love you all...I am so blessed by your support and love.
