An outing to the Arboretum

1 week since surgery!!  Sometimes it seems like it has been a lot longer than that...but a lot of progress has been made in a week.

Curt and I dropped Margaret off at the airport(so sad...we wanted her to stay forever) and got donuts and headed to the Arboretum for a little walk in the sun.  The leaves are starting to change colors.  It was nice to be outside and have a normal outing.

We go to see Dr. Guthrie tomorrow morning...I think that all is going as planned. My left side drain has healed completely and the right side is on its way.

Sleeping still proves to be a bit of a challenge, as my sides are so bruised that my back is the only option.  I hope that will improve as I heal.

The sunny Fall days have brightened my days...I hope that this continues throughout October.

Praise:
*Visit with Margaret...it was so helpful.
*Continued healing of my drain holes
*Putting on real clothes 2 days in a row

Prayers
*Visit with Dr. Guthrie tomorrow
*Range of motion in my right arm...it is still pretty limited. I hope to start PT soon.
*Continued patience as I heal and looking for blessings in each day

Love you all,
Rachelle
