I got DRESSED in real clothes!!

It is the little things in life that mean so much and make you feel a little more "normal."

Today I am hoping to attend the memorial service of a dear neighbor and friend.  I figured that pajamas or sweats weren't appropriate for the occasion.  It is surprising how much better I feel to have showered and put on real clothes.

The two drain holes seem to be draining and healing well.  We were watching them closely yesterday and through the night.  It would be such a blessing if they just kept closing from the inside out and I didn't have any complications. 

Margaret, my college roomate, has been here the last couple days.  I am telling you...I couldn't do it without all this AMAZING help.  She has been cooking and cleaning and helping me so much.  I am SO BLESSED!

Praise:
*Drain holes are draining well and healing..pray that this continues.
*I took a shower and got dressed...HOORAY!
*Pain and discomfort are very manageable with Tylenol and ice packs
*Slept fairly well last night

Prayers:
*Night time rest and comfort...sleeping on my back is uncomfortable
*Healing day by day and strength to be patient

I was reminded yesterday in my devotional of this...
"God will call you to do what you cannot do, but he will provide everything you need to do it."
I rest in that truth today and I pray that you will too!
